12 Major Hair and Skin Issues -- Solved!
Basic Beauty Tips For Solving Acne Problems, Flyaways, and Finding The Right Foundation Color
Basic Beauty Tips For Solving Acne Problems, Flyaways, and Finding The Right Foundation Color. If you are a woman who is concerned with her beauty, and most are, then there are a few beauty tips in particular you are going to want to be aware of. These are the most commonly dealt with beauty problems, but with these tips you will be able to avoid them.
Flyaways
One of the biggest issues that women deal with when it comes to their hair are flyaways. These are those little pieces of hair that you just can’t seem to ever do anything right with. Even when you try to pin them back it ends up looking awful, but you should know that there are effective ways to deal with these annoying tufts of hair.
Pimples
Another very important beauty tip is one that involves pimples. It seems that as soon as you are ready to go out for that important date or a night out on the town with your girlfriends that you end up with a huge zit right in the middle of your forehead. No matter where the pimple pops up, the most important thing is that you know how to deal with it. Toothpaste is the best thing to put on a pimple, as this will help with the swelling and inflammation. Never, ever pick at a pimple or try to squeeze it, because although you may think this would help it will only make it worse.
Foundation Color
Another common beauty blunder is choosing the wrong foundation color. Then you end up with your face that is a different shade than your neck, which is never pretty. To make sure that you get the most beauty with your makeup, you need to make sure that you have the right base, and this means getting the right color foundation. The best idea will be for you to talk to a professional who can look at your skin tone and choose the right foundation color for you. Otherwise, just make sure that you smear a bit of a couple different shades of foundation onto your pinky finger or part of your neck, so that you can see which best matches your skin tone. Keep in mind that during the summer you may need to get a darker tone of foundation, as you will probably be more tanned because of the sun, and vice versa in the winter. Also, you should always blend the foundation further down than just your jawline, and instead all the way down the neck.

How Exfoliating Your Skin Regularly Can Do Wonders For Your Skin
How Exfoliating Your Skin Regularly Can Do Wonders For Your Skin. The natural skin care facial is a wonderful way to re-energize the face. The exfoliation process will remove those skin cells that are no longer useful and will improve the circulatory flow. In addition the skin will be cleansed from harmful blockages of the skin’s pores. Also, the natural skin care facial will allow for the skin to renew itself by allowing for its re-hydration.

Chances are pretty good that at some point today you looked into a mirror. Staring back at you was a reflection of your facial features. Those facial features probably included two eyes, one nose and a set of lips. Depending upon your perspective, some negative features may have included some blemishes and a few wrinkles.
However, despite any outward differences of our facial features, the compositions of our faces are the same. This sameness is demonstrated in that our faces are comprised of many layers of epithelial tissue. This tissue, our skin, protects the muscles and organs of the body and therefore its care is of utmost importance.
In particular, a routine of a natural skin care facial helps in protecting our face and in keeping the skin stimulated and healthy. A natural skin care facial will invigorate the skin and promote optimal circulation. A natural skin care facial also consists of exfoliation. Therefore, what is exfoliation, what does it accomplish and what are some other tips?
What is Exfoliation
Exfoliation takes place continuously and is part of the natural process of our skin’s activity. Dead skin cells are constantly being cast off and being replaced by newly created cells. However, the combination of lifeless cells with oil and dirt remaining on the skin, often results in clogged up skin pores. This blockage results in blemishes and irregular skin quality.
Exfoliation, as part of a natural skin care facial, is a critical process. Exfoliation will help to invigorate the skin and keep it at its highest peak of productivity. This part of the natural skin care facial should be performed weekly. However, oily skin can benefit from this treatment once a day. As part of the natural skin care facial it is recommended that the exfoliating product not be too caustic and that the method of application be gentle in nature.
Other Tips
When performing your natural skin care facial it is important to use an exfoliate that is beadlike in texture and for specific use on the face. Attention to this facial centered product will allow for the right abrasiveness that will not damage the facial skin.
In addition, great care should be taken to avoid those delicate areas of the face beneath the eyes. This skin is thin in nature and can be injured with abrasive products.
Finally, problem skin can benefit from natural exfoliates such as papaya or pineapple. These tropical fruits, being enzyme-based, will allow for the least irritation while function as an absorbent for the lifeless cells.

How To Highlight You Hair
How To Highlight You Hair. Simple highlighting hair tips. There are two ways of highlighting hair. First, you can highlight very small strands of hair. This creates a subtle change. Thin, small highlights look natural, as though you've just vacationed in Hawaii.Another way of highlighting hair is to go for the modern and sleek chunky style. These highlights are thick, large portions of hair that have been bravely and boldly highlighted. This type of highlighting makes a fashion statement that isn't soon forgotten.

By highlighting hair, you can have a fresh new look that looks natural and just may garner you some new looks from the men. Highlighting hair is a good choice for any age, but has a special bonus for older ladies – highlighting tends to make you look younger!
Whichever style you choose, you want it to look professional. A messy job will give you spotted or streaky hair, or both, which can be less than desirable. To prevent this, manufacturers of highlighting hair kits have created in home application tools just for you! The first is the dye net. This is similar to a plastic shower cap, except that it has holes in it. A small hook, similar to a crochet hook, is used to gently reach through the holes, and pull the hair out. If you want the natural look, then just pull through small strands of hair. For the bold and sassy look, grab generous chunks of hair.
Once you've selected and pulled through all the hair you want to highlight, you're ready to bleach. When handling these highlighting hair chemicals, always wear gloves and goggles, for splash back protection. Drape an old towel around your neck and shoulders to protect your skin. Mix the chemicals as directed on the box. Included in your highlighting hair kit is a small comb. Dip this into the dye solution, and run it evenly through your hair. Be generous with the application, saturating each strand or chunk to ensure even coverage.
The highlighting hair kit gives you instructions on how long to leave the solution in your hair. Have a watch or timer handy and don't leave it in too long. Don't go traipsing around the house while waiting or you may find bleached spots on your carpeting! When the time is up, just rinse your hair out. Follow up with the conditioner, drying and styling, and you've got beautiful highlights and a brand new look.
Men Skin Care Products
Men Skin Care Products. The skin of men is about twenty percent thicker than women’s and is naturally firmer due to richer elastin and collagen. On the other hand, it tends to be oilier because of the sebaceous glands that are more active. Men’s skin is also much more “dehydration” prone because of regular or daily shaving. It is very essential for men, no matter what type of skin, to have a daily face cleansing regimen, as well as deep cleansing which is very essential as the skin ages.

The men of today have increasingly become aware and alarmed about their skin’s appearance and health. Men have started to take the steps of taking better mind of their skin with the daily simple ritual of cleansing and moisturizing. Although a lot of men have more and more become conscious of skin care, a few factors are stopping them to do so. For a lot of men, skin care is simply an addendum that goes beyond shaving the face, and so the rarity of men to allot time for the skin, especially the face’s skin.
Generally, men’s skin are characterized by more larger pores, oilier, increased propensity to sweat, and richer blood supply, thus men have a different type of need when it comes to skin care products. Men skin care products differ significantly than women’s as it focuses more on the requirements of men’s skin. Men skin care products include cleansers, moisturizing creams, scrubs, wash for the body and face, night renewal creams, and exfoliants.
Men skin care products target men of different skin types and all ages, which are specifically designed for their skin. It also varies in price, depending on the product’s components and brands. Some of the great brands out in the market today, to name a few, include Clinique, Gillette, Nivea, and Adidas.
Good skin care for men relies on the use of men skin care products the meet their skin type and its daily use to obtain the products maximum benefits. Men with oily skin and those prone to acne, should use the correct oils such as essential oils of sage, lavender, tea tree and mint, which are naturally antiseptic that would actively help heal the skin. They should look for men skin care products that are non-comdeogenic or products that don’t clog the pores.
Men’s skin care is astonishingly similar to women, cleansing the skin daily, as well as the application of toner and moisturizer is a needed regimen. Men should recognize that appropriate skin care means taking the plentiful quantity of time to do it, and using the right men skin care products.

How To Take Care of Acne During Your Pregnancy
How To Take Care of Acne During Your Pregnancy. Pimples while you are pregnant can make you feel self-conscious just when you want to open up to the world and enjoy it the most. Luckily, most acne during pregnancy starts to resolve by the end of the first trimester. Skin problems are usually far less of an issue later in pregnancy.

All the romance novels and television movies make us think we’re supposed to look dewy-faced when we’re pregnant. So why do so many of us look pizza-faced instead? The culprit is the hormone androgen. The level of androgen in a woman’s body increases while she is pregnant, and this increases the risk of acne during pregnancy. If you experienced breakouts during your menstrual periods, you are especially likely to become the victim of acne during pregnancy.
Unfortunately, the standard treatments, including Retin-A, Tetracycline, and Accutane, are not options for pregnant women due to the risk of harming the fetus. Accutane, especially, has been linked to birth defects, and tetracycline may cause problems with the baby’s bones and teeth. Retin-A has not been linked specifically to any fetal problems, but doctors do know that around 10% of Retin-A crosses the placenta to reach the fetus.
With the most recent treatments considered unsafe for pregnant women, women who suffer acne during pregnancy must consider more old-fashioned methods of treatment.
You might think sweating would be the last thing you want to do, but surprisingly, regular exercise can help reduce acne during pregnancy. Exercise will help decrease your level of stress. Being stressed out can make acne worse. Exercise will also improve the blood flow throughout your body which will make all of your skin healthier.
Another way to decrease breakouts is to watch what you eat. Fried foods and excessive sweets have been linked to blemishes. Eating fresh fruits and vegetables can help improve your acne during pregnancy.
You should wash your face at least twice a day. Use a mild, oil-free soap, and don’t scrub with a washcloth. Using a harsh soap and scrubbing at your skin will strip away the natural oil, sending the message to your glands to produce more. When you wash, use your hands or an oil-absorbing cloth to cleanse your skin. Then pat your skin dry and use an oil-free moisturizer.
If you make sure it is make-up, make sure it is not oil based. Be sure to wash it off before bedtime. Excessive make-up can cause acne during pregnancy.
Finally, don’t squeeze or pop pimples. This will only lead to scarring. Also, try to avoid touching the pimples and then touching other areas of your face, as this could cause acne during pregnancy to spread.
If your skin problems become too uncomfortable, speak with your doctor. You may want to consult with a dermatologist, but you should make sure the dermatologist knows you are pregnant. Just to be safe, consult with your ob-gyn before taking any medications for acne during pregnancy prescribed by another doctor.
